After the leadership/management diagnostic, I was pretty surprised to see that I was a type D. Although I do have type D characteristics, I thought I would lean more towards type I. I don’t think I am a definite type D but a mixture of both D and I. For example, I dislike control and supervision, I like new and varied activities, and I desire power, all of which is type D characteristics. However, I also aim to make good impressions, I like to entertain and like social recognition, all of which fall in the type I category. If it was up to me, I would like to take on some type C characteristics. I am more of a creative thinker than the analytical type. I feel that being able to analyze situation with accuracy and demonstrating diplomatic ability is a very important skill in life. I found that this test is helpful “initially” to understand where a person is coming from and would prepare you for better interaction. Such as myself, I don’t think every person is a definite D, I, S or C types. People are dynamic and share many qualities, however, this test can help an individual gain some idea of other peoples traits in-turn creating healthier interaction in the workplace.

I agree with what you think that not every person is a definite D, I, S or C type and I also agree that the test is helpful initially in order to decide how to approach a person but the true understanding comes over time and also since all of us have different layers of personality , different situations can catalize different responses.
As for your results I can definitely see some D characteristics in you but if you what to acquire more traits of C type like you said you should hang out with Manuel more, it seems that he is C type all the way:)
I got to agree with both you guys. Every person isn't really a D or I or S or C type. Some people are mixed. But I dont know about you being a D. Like you said i see you more as an I tryna influence others...
hmm that's a little shocking. i didn't think you'd be a "D".. i was thinking you're more of a "C" or "S".. that's because i never hear you talk! and i'd learn about you through your blog. but to each his own. that's funny that you dislike control! when you have people like me who are power hungry =/
you made me a believer that not every person is a set D, I, S, or C.
